Dry Skin on Mouth Area

The solution to my problem? Use a  Non Fluoride Toothpaste.

Because I'm in to Natural Products, I tried this toothpaste and after several uses, I've noticed that the dryness around my mouth area started to disappear.

I just discovered recently that this toothpaste is free from fluoride. This led me to my conclusion that the dryness of the skin around my mouth area are caused by toothpaste with fluoride.

DIY Hot Waxing

I wanted to save. That's why I've searched for waxing kits and found this product:

GLAM WORKS
Hair Removal Hot Wax Kit
For face and body - with Aloe Vera Scent

Includes:
- 50g Hair Removal Wax
- Melting Pan
- Spatula (popsicle stick)

Waxing Salon cost me around P200 to P300. This product only costs at around P80 to P100 (I forgot the actual price) plus it can be used several times. What a great saving!

For those who are curious and would like to try this product, here's the product description:

Glamworks Hair Removal Hot Wax Kit is a complete home-use kit comprising of hard wax, a melting pan and a wooden spatula. It is effective in removing unwanted hair on your face and body.

***In my case, I use it for my underarms.

Directions for use:

BEFORE WAXING
- Clean skin and pat dry.
- Warm hot wax in the melting pan over low heat. Heating beyond 170 degC can weaken the wax.
*** I use tealight candles and place the pan over the candle. make sure you have pot holder or cloth to hold the melting pan since the handle will be hot.
- After melting, let the wax cool to a warm and tolerable temperature before applying onto skin.

DURING WAXING
- Test the temperature of the wax on a small area of your skin before applying.
-  Use the spatula to spread the wax on clean, dry skin.
- For best results, cover the applied area with Glamworks Hair Removal Paper. (Not necessary)
- Allow the wax to cool and harden for 20 seconds to grasp the hair.
- Prior to removing wax strip, stretch the skin taut and hold firmly.
- To make sure that the wax has cooled enough, lightly pick up a small part of wax on the end off the strip.
- Holding onto flicked up area, remove wax strip in opposite direction of hair growth in one quick pull.
- Repeat as necessary

TIPS
- When removing wax strip, avoid pulling up.
- If the wax did not cool enough, it will be too sticky.
- If the wax is left too long to cool, it will break.

AFTER WAXING
- Wipe skin with after wax finish wipes. Temporary redness on the waxed area is normal.
** I use human nature sun flower oil after waxing.

CAUTION
- Not Suitable for use on the head, breast or genital areas.
- Not suitable for the elderly, diabetic or pregnant women.
- Not recommended if you have suffered an adverse reaction to waxing previously. If in doubt consult your doctor before use. If you are on medication that affects your skin or you have skin related disorders, consult your doctor before use.
- Do not use within 2 hours of showering, bathing or sunbathing.
- It is recommended you carry out a small patch test before full use. If after 24 hours you do not suffer an adverse reaction, continue to use.
- Do not use soap, water or alcohol to clean skin after waxing.
- Recommended to wait 24 hours after waxing before applying antiperspirant or perfumed products on the waxed area.
- After waxing, it is recommended to wait 24 hours before sunbathing or swimming.
- It is common for skin to turn pink or red after waxing. If you experience any unusual discomfort while using this product, apply a cold compress (pack) and stop use immediately. Consult your doctor if necessary.
- In case of ingestion consult your doctor immediately.
- Do not use on irritated, broken or sunburnt skin, varicose veins, moles or scars.
